This page will link to not only the End of Year Awards but also to any Awards for special tournaments that are held throughout the year.
Each year you will have the chance to not only compete for awards for special tournaments held some months of the year but to compete for end of year Awards, the main ones being; an award to the Overall Racing Tournament Champion, the Champion Racer and the Racer of the Tournaments.
These awards the winners will be able to save to their own hard drive and display on their webpage or that of their team if they wish. And will also be displayed on a Gallery Page here on this site as well.
Presentation of these awards will be made at a tournament at a date to be notified as soon as is possible in the new year following. Hope you enjoy this addition to the Tournaments!
The Overall Racing Tournament Champion will be based on the point system. Points will be taken from the points table of each tournament, so to win this award you need not only score as many points as you can each tournament but also to consistently run these tournaments.
The second award, the Champion Racer will be for the racer who has won the most tournaments, that explains itself.
The last award will be Racer of the Tournaments for that year. This award will be very similar to a players player in sporting events if any of you are familiar with that. It is judged by you the racers. At the end of each tournament year i will invite those that have raced at any of the tournaments held by me within that year, to cast ONE vote for the racer they feel is the gentleman or woman of the track. I will email all racers on the mailing list when the voting opens and request that you email me with your vote, please put MTM Racer in the subject line. This racer may be someone that may not always win but it will be obvious they enjoy tournament racing by the showup to the tournaments, they will be courteous, helpful and fun to race with. They will know this game and enjoy the comradship that goes along with it, their fun and enthusiasm helping others to keep this game alive. Think on this carefully as sometimes these racers are overlooked due to the quiteness of their nature. Voting closes 1st January each year.
Host Award. Given by the host to a racer who has proved an asset to the game during the year. His/her support of the tournaments, help to other racers, to the host, and shear enjoyment of the game is obvious.

Red Lantern Award. Given to the racer with the most Red Lanterns over the year.
